This Privacy Policy explains how AOORA APPS, LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use myslim (myslim.app). We are established in the United States and offer the Service to users in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Depending on where you live, additional rights described below may apply to you — for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for Canadian residents, or Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) for Mexican residents.
We collect: email address (required for account creation), usage data (habits logged, coaching content viewed, check-ins, progress entries you choose to record), device and browser information (IP address, browser type, access times), and payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card data).
Some content you choose to log (for example, meals, weight, or cycle-related entries) is personal wellness information you provide voluntarily. We do not require this data to use the Service, we do not sell it, and we use it only to personalize your experience within myslim. You can delete it at any time by contacting us.
We use your data to: provide and personalise the Service, process payments and manage subscriptions, send transactional emails (receipts, renewal reminders), improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
We may use email addresses to send you information about myslim. We may run advertising campaigns through platforms such as Google and Meta. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
Canadian residents (CASL): in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, we send commercial electronic messages only to recipients who have given express or implied consent. Every marketing message identifies AOORA APPS, LLC as the sender and includes our contact information and a functioning unsubscribe mechanism, which we process within 10 business days of your request.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: our payment processor (for transaction processing), infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics), and when required by law.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell data), and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents may exercise CCPA rights by emailing support@myslim.app. Canadian residents may exercise PIPEDA rights, including access to and correction of their personal information, and may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Mexican residents may exercise LFPDPPP rights (access, rectification, cancellation, and objection — "derechos ARCO") by emailing support@myslim.app, and may file a complaint with INAI (Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales).
Comprehensive state privacy laws: residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, and other US states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws in effect may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal data and do not engage in targeted advertising as those terms are typically defined under these laws. To exercise any applicable state-law right, email support@myslim.app; we will verify and respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Washington and Nevada consumer health data: some information you choose to enter in myslim — including weight, meal or diet entries, and menstrual-cycle-related entries — may be "consumer health data" under Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar Nevada law. We collect this information only through your affirmative action of entering it into the Service, we do not sell consumer health data, we do not use geofencing around healthcare facilities to collect or infer such data, and we limit access to it to what is necessary to operate the Service. You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or sharing of consumer health data, and request its deletion, at any time by emailing support@myslim.app; we will honor deletion requests, including from our and our processors' systems and archived or backup systems, within the timeframe required by applicable law.
No biometric data collection (Illinois BIPA and similar laws): myslim does not collect, capture, purchase, or otherwise obtain biometric identifiers or biometric information — such as fingerprints, retina or iris scans, voiceprints, or facial geometry scans — as those terms are defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) or similar biometric privacy laws in Texas, Washington, or other states. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain any consent required by applicable law before doing so.

myslim is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
